Bryncethin Primary School, Bridgend
Luke Chaeter is the ICT Coordinator of Bryncethin Primary School in Bridgend, South Wales. Like all school’s in Wales Bryncethin has progressively enhanced the teaching and learning facilities within the school with the introduction of two ICT suites complete with classroom control software from SMART technologies, SMARTboards in every classroom and much, much more.
The introduction of technology has been planned and delivered to a very high standard and these points were made in a recent Estyn inspection carried out in July 07. During preparation for this inspection Luke had recognised the need to ensure that all multi-media equipment was serviceable and fully functioning.
The Head Teacher Mrs Wood contracted Projector Service UK to carry out a full audit of all interactive whiteboards and data projection units installed within the school. The subsequent report and equipment fully serviced enabled Mr Chaeter to concentrate on teaching and learning without having to install new gallery content or carry out running repairs to classroom teaching equipment.
PSUK Ltd carried out the gold level service which is the recommended service for schools facing inspection. At a fixed cost of approximately £40 per room, PSUK will attend your school, carry out an initial site survey and a complete classroom health check.
PSUK will then compile a report on your equipment and schedule two further visits within a twelve month period in order to carry out a complete 26 point projector service, 5 point whiteboard service and installation component service.
